A small Barcelona transfer company that answers the phone at four in the morning.
Barcelona Taxi & Transfers is a licensed private transfer service working from Barcelona El Prat, Girona and Reus airports and the cruise port. We drive passengers across Catalonia and, when asked, a good deal further.
A price before a journey
Every transfer is quoted as a fixed total for the whole vehicle, agreed in writing before you travel and including tolls and luggage. No meter runs on the motorway and nothing is added at the end.
Flights, not timetables
Give us a flight number and we track it. Land ninety minutes late and your driver is there ninety minutes later at the same price. Meeting you inside arrivals with a name sign is standard, not an extra.
The places without addresses
Much of our work is the awkward half of the map: coves at the end of one narrow road, masias with a name instead of a street number, wedding venues in the Empordà. Share a location pin and we will find it.
Send five things and we can price it immediately: pickup, destination, date and time, passengers, and how many suitcases. Add the flight number if you are arriving, and a location pin if the address is rural.
We reply with a fixed total for the whole vehicle. Your booking is confirmed once we answer.
How to reach us
WhatsApp: +34 603 734 779 — answered 24 hours, usually within minutes. Phone: +34 603 734 779 Area: Barcelona and all of Catalonia.
Already travelling?
If your flight has changed or you cannot find your driver, message the same number. Someone is awake.
The Costa Brava is where a private transfer stops being a luxury. Lloret and Blanes are served reasonably well by transfer buses, but everything north of them is not: Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu, Begur and the coves below it each sit at the end of their own narrow road, and the bus route involves a change at Girona or Palafrugell with a long wait in between.
We drive the whole coast, from Blanes in the south to Cadaqués over the Pení pass in the north. The journey runs an hour and a quarter to Lloret, about an hour and three quarters to the Palafrugell villages, and two and a quarter hours to Cadaqués.
A great many houses rented along this coast have no usable street address — a name, a road number and a set of pine trees. Send the Google Maps pin from your booking confirmation and the driver will arrive at the gate rather than circling the village.
Questions
Which villages do you serve?
All of them: Blanes, Lloret, Tossa, Sant Feliu, Platja d'Aro, Palamós, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu, Begur, Pals, L'Estartit, Roses, Empuriabrava and Cadaqués.
How long does it take?
About 1 h 15 to Lloret, 1 h 45 to the Palafrugell villages, and 2 h 15 to Cadaqués.
My villa has no street address.
Share a Google Maps pin on WhatsApp — we reach these houses every week.
Is the coast road difficult at night?
The stretch from Lloret to Tossa and the pass to Cadaqués are winding. Our drivers know them; it is not a road to learn in a hire car after a late flight.
Can you do the return trip too?
Yes, and it is worth booking both together — taxis are scarce in these villages early in the morning.

Barcelona's cruise berths sit a long way apart. Moll Adossat holds terminals A to E at the end of a working breakwater with no pedestrian access whatsoever; the World Trade Center terminals sit close to Colom and the bottom of La Rambla. Being dropped at the wrong one costs twenty minutes and a great deal of walking with luggage.
Send the ship name and the sailing date when you book. We check the berth for that date and take you to the right building. On the return leg we time the pickup against your disembarkation slot rather than the ship's arrival, because those are usually an hour or more apart.
Turnaround days are busy at Moll Adossat with several ships loading at once, and we build that into the timing. If a post-cruise flight looks tight, we will tell you before you book rather than let you find out on the day.
Questions
Which terminal will my ship use?
Send the ship name and date and we will confirm it before the day.
Can I walk from Moll Adossat into the city?
No — it is a working breakwater closed to pedestrians. From the World Trade Center it is about ten minutes to La Rambla.
How early should I be at the terminal?
Most lines ask for two to three hours before departure. Tell us your boarding window and we will work backwards from it.
Do you handle several large suitcases?
Four fit the sedan comfortably; for six to eight, book the van.
What if the ship docks late?
We track the arrival and adjust the pickup at no extra cost.

Send your pickup, destination, date, time, passengers and luggage on WhatsApp, or use the quote form on the home page. We reply with a fixed total, usually within minutes. Your booking is confirmed when we answer — no deposit and no card details on the site.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Because a fair price depends on the exact addresses, the vehicle and the time of day. A published table would either overcharge short journeys or underquote long ones. Send the route and you will have a real figure in minutes.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Give us the flight number and we track the arrival ourselves, adjusting the pickup at no extra charge. One hour of waiting after landing is included.
Where does the driver meet me?
Inside the terminal at arrivals, holding a sign with your name, after you have collected your luggage. Kerbside pickup can be arranged if you prefer.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. The quote is the total for the whole vehicle including tolls and luggage. Only an added stop or a change of destination alters it, and we tell you the difference first.
How many suitcases fit?
Four large check-in cases in the sedan or eco taxi, six to eight in the van. If you are close to the limit, tell us and we will advise.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, free of charge. Tell us the children's ages when you book so we bring the right ones.
Can you reach a house with no street address?
Yes. Share the Google Maps pin on WhatsApp — we reach villas, masias and wedding venues across Catalonia this way every week.
How do I pay?
Cash or card with the driver at the end of the journey. Companies can be invoiced monthly with IVA.
How far in advance should I book?
Twenty-four hours is comfortable. We take same-day requests, and for an early-morning departure it is worth messaging the night before.
Do you charge more at night or on holidays?
No. The quoted total applies at any hour of any day.
What if I cannot find my driver?
Message the same WhatsApp number. The driver is inside arrivals with a name sign, and if the hall is busy we will talk you to each other.
A sedan for four, a van for eight, and a licensed hybrid eco taxi.
Luxury class
Mercedes Sedan
A Mercedes E-Class in the official black-and-yellow Barcelona livery. Leather, generous rear legroom, and a boot that genuinely takes four large cases rather than three and a squeeze.
A Mercedes V-Class in the official Barcelona livery: eight seats and a full-height boot. Book this for families, teams and anything bulky — golf bags, surfboards, a travel cot, or a pushchair travelling alongside four suitcases.
The licensed black-and-yellow Barcelona taxi — hybrid, low emission and cleared for the city's restricted zone. The most economical choice for short runs and the cruise port.
Add a fifth passenger, a pushchair or a set of golf clubs and it becomes the van. If you are near the limit,
tell us what you are carrying and we will say which vehicle to send. It costs nothing to ask and saves a
difficult conversation at arrivals.
Girona is two destinations sharing a name. Girona Airport sits at Vilobí d'Onyar, about 12 km south of the city, and handles much of the region's low-cost traffic. Girona city is the medieval one: the Jewish quarter, the cathedral staircase, and the painted houses along the Onyar. Tell us which you mean, because the drop-off differs completely.
For the city, the drive is about an hour and twenty minutes up the AP-7. The old town is largely pedestrian and partly stepped, so we drop at the closest vehicle access — usually Carrer de Santa Clara or near Plaça Catalunya — which leaves a short walk to most hotels inside the Call.
Airport-to-airport transfers between El Prat and Girona are a steady part of our work, most often when a flight is cancelled and the replacement leaves from the other airport the same night. We quote those as a fixed total whatever the hour.
Questions
Do you mean the city or the airport?
We serve both. The airport is 12 km south of the city at Vilobí d'Onyar.
How long is the journey from Barcelona?
About an hour and twenty minutes for 100 km on the AP-7.
Can you do airport to airport?
Yes, El Prat to Girona or the reverse, at any hour, as a fixed price.
Can the car enter the old town?
Only to its edge — the Call is pedestrian and stepped in places. We drop as close as vehicles are allowed.
Do you continue to the medieval villages?
Yes — Besalú, Peratallada, Pals, Monells and Púbol are all regular runs.

Moving a group is a logistics problem rather than a taxi booking. Fifteen guests arriving on four different flights, a wedding party that needs cars held between ceremony and reception, or a company team that must be at a venue together rather than trickling in — all of these need one person planning the whole movement.
Send us the numbers and the timings and we will come back with a plan and a total: how many vehicles, what time each one collects, and what the whole thing costs. Late returns after a reception are normal work for us; so are 5 a.m. departures when the group flies home.
For rural wedding venues and masias, the location pin matters more than the address. Share it once and every driver in the movement has it.
Questions
How many people can you move?
Any number — we run as many vehicles as the group needs, each holding up to eight.
Can you hold cars during an event?
Yes. Waiting time is arranged in advance and included in the quoted total.
Do you handle late-night returns?
Regularly. Weddings finish late and we plan for it.
Can guests be collected from different flights?
Yes — send the flight numbers and we track each one separately.
Do you invoice companies?
Yes, monthly with IVA for regular corporate clients.

Every kind of transfer, not only the airport: cruise port, coast, ski, weddings, corporate
and city work. Licensed driver, tracked flight, and a total agreed on WhatsApp before you travel.
No meter, no surcharges, no queue at arrivals.
Our sedan is the official black-and-yellow livery on an E-Class body: leather, quiet at motorway speed,
and a boot that takes four large cases without argument. The car people expect at a hotel entrance, and
the licence plate that lets it use the taxi lanes.
The V-Class is the answer to the question every family asks at arrivals: will it all fit? Eight seats,
a full-height boot, and space for six to eight large cases — or four cases, a pushchair and the golf clubs.
One vehicle instead of two cars and two fares.
Airport runs are most of what we do, but they are not the limit. Send any journey and we will price it —
one passenger or twenty, five minutes or five hours, three in the afternoon or three in the morning.
The same journey, booked two ways. This is why passengers who have done it once stop flagging cabs at arrivals.

Eco taxi
Hybrid, licensed, and allowed everywhere.
Barcelona's low-emission zone turns away a growing number of vehicles. Our hybrid runs on
electric power through the city centre, carries the official licence, and is the most economical
choice for short runs, the cruise port and hotel hops.
A four-hour journey with a meter running is nobody's idea of relaxing. Long-distance transfers are quoted as a single figure before departure, tolls included, and that figure holds whatever the traffic does. Nothing is added at the end.
For two or more travellers the arithmetic is often better than it looks. Against two rail tickets plus a taxi at each end, a private car door to door frequently costs about the same — and it leaves when you want, stops when you want, and takes as much luggage as the boot will hold.
Andorra during the ski season is our most requested long run, followed by Valencia, Zaragoza and Madrid. In winter the final stretch into Andorra depends on conditions at the pass; if a departure should move, we will say so rather than set off and hope.
Questions
How far will you drive?
Anywhere in mainland Spain, plus Andorra and southern France.
Is it cheaper than the train?
For one person usually not; for two or more with luggage it is often comparable, and it is door to door.
Do you stop along the way?
Yes — a comfort stop on any journey over two hours is normal and costs nothing.
Can you carry skis?
Yes, in the van. Tell us how many sets when you book.
What about the return?
Book both legs together and we hold the driver at the same fixed rate.

Tarragona was the capital of Roman Hispania and still shows it: an amphitheatre cut into the slope above the beach, a circus running beneath the modern streets, and city walls you can walk. It is about an hour and a quarter from Barcelona Airport down the AP-7, and considerably less visited than it deserves.
Twenty minutes further sit Salou and Cambrils. Almost everyone on this route is a family or a group with a lot of luggage, which is why the van is the vehicle we send most often here — eight seats and a full-height boot handle four sets of cases plus a pushchair without anyone holding a bag on their knees.
For PortAventura the detail that matters is the drop-off. The resort hotels each have their own entrance inside the complex, and being left at the main park gate with tired children and four suitcases is a long walk. Give us the hotel name and we take you to its door.
Questions
How long to Salou?
About an hour and twenty minutes from Barcelona Airport, and five minutes more to Cambrils.
Will you drop at our PortAventura hotel?
Yes, at the hotel's own entrance inside the resort rather than at the park gate.
Which vehicle for a family of five?
The van. Four adults with four cases already fill a sedan's boot.
Do you serve Tarragona cruise port?
Yes — some lines sail from Tarragona rather than Barcelona, about eighty minutes from El Prat.
Is the train a good alternative?
It needs changes at Sants and then Tarragona or Reus. With children and luggage most families prefer the direct car.

The airport transfer is the journey where everything can go wrong: a delayed flight, a missing driver, a meter that climbs while you sit in traffic on the Gran Via. We remove all three. Send us the flight number and we watch it ourselves — if you land ninety minutes late, your driver is there ninety minutes later at the same price.
Your driver waits inside the terminal at arrivals, holding a sign with your name, after you have cleared baggage. If you would rather be collected at the kerb because you are travelling light, say so and we will arrange it. Either way there is no rank to queue at.
We serve all three airports in the region: Barcelona El Prat T1 and T2, Girona, and Reus. Airport-to-airport transfers are a common booking too — usually when a Girona flight is cancelled and the replacement leaves from El Prat the same night.
Questions
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track the flight and adjust the pickup ourselves. There is no charge for the delay, and one hour of waiting after landing is included.
Where exactly will the driver be?
Inside the terminal in the arrivals hall with a name sign, after baggage reclaim. Kerbside pickup can be arranged if you prefer.
Do you cover T1 and T2?
Both, plus Girona and Reus. Tell us the terminal or just the flight number, which tells us both.
How do I pay?
Cash or card with the driver at the end of the journey. Business accounts are invoiced monthly.
Can you collect us for a very early flight?
Yes. Book the return when you book the arrival and we hold the slot — 4 a.m. departures are routine for us.
